Mamu bhanja hill one of the unexplored tourist attractions of Odisha, situated at a distance of 20km from Cuttack city in Mahalpada village towards Athagarh on Dhabaleswara road.
Mamu Bhanja hill is located approximately 150 feet above the sea level . It has lot of potential to be developed as a full fledged Tourist destination. It can offer lot of tourism activities for the visitors such as trekking, rock climbing, birds watching, photography and enjoying the scenic beauty. However the place is required to be included in the identified tourist destination of Odisha by the Government. At present basic facilities and amenities such as refreshment center, drinking water facilities , sanitation facility etc. need to be provided on an immediate basis by the concerned authority.
